1. All animals boarded must hold a current vaccination certificate or pet passport certified by a vet.

2. Dog’s must be inoculated against Distemper and Hardpad plus Parvo-Virus within the last 12 months (these are

your standard yearly boosters). Dog’s must also have an inoculation against Infectious Bronchitis / Bordetella

(Kennel Cough), this vaccination is not an injection, it is a live vaccine which is sprayed into the dog’s nostrils. All

vaccinations must be administered at least 2 weeks before your dog is due to stay with ourselves.

3. Cats must be inoculated against feline influenza and feline enteritis within the last 12 months (these are your

standard yearly boosters).

4. All cats over the age of 6 months must be neutered or spayed.

5. We regret that without proof of inoculation no pet(s) will be admitted into the premises. Your vaccination certificate

will need to be produced each time your pet(s) visits Dotties Doghouse

6. All pet(s) boarding with ourselves must be up to date with their internal and external parasite treatments (flea, tick,

worms etc.). If your animal(s) shows signs of same, they will be treated and charged for accordingly upon

checkout.

7. If any pet due to stay at Dotties Doghouse suffers from any condition whatsoever, particularly regarding the health

and wellbeing of the pet, we must be made aware of any such condition when the pet's reservation is being made.

8. Remember we are a Hotel and not a Hospital, we will administer medication on a case by case basis so please

check when making a reservation to see if we can accommodate your request, also if any pet(s) requires

medication to be administered during the pet's stay the we should be notified of the pet's medication schedule and

provided with adequate supply of the pet's medication to last the duration of the pet's stay. Administration of

medication will be charged for accordingly.

9. A veterinary surgeon is on call 7 days a week and in the unfortunate event of illness of an animal(s) in our care,

the Veterinary Surgeon will be called to attend the said animal(s). It is further understood that should any problem

develop with your pet(s), this will be treated as deemed best by the staff at Dotties Doghouse, in their sole

discretion, and that the owner/agent will assume full financial responsibility for all expenses involved. you also

authorise Dotties Doghouse to obtain your pet(s) medical records and/or treatments from your veterinarian and

give us the power to allow our veterinarian to obtain medical records from the pet’s veterinarian if we need to do

so for the health and welfare of your pet(s).

10. The pet(s) owner agrees to give permission to Dotties Doghouse allow personal information regarding owner(s)

and pet(s) to be given to or received from a duly licensed veterinary surgeon.

11. It is clearly understood that every care and attention will be given to the animal(s) boarded with ourselves; it will

be accepted entirely at the owner’s risk and Dotties Doghouse cannot be held responsible in any way for injury,

illness or sudden death arising during your pet’s stay with ourselves.

12. It is understood that it is the policy of Dotties Doghouse to allow the dogs under its care to exercise outside their

kennels and within common exercise areas along with another dog or dogs of compatible nature. you consent to

your dog(s) being exercised and indemnify Dotties Doghouse any suit or claim arising from any loss or injury to

your dog(s) whilst being so exercised.

13. Dotties Doghouse will not be held accountable for any loss, damage to any items brought in by the owner/agent

for their pet(s) during its time of boarding and is not responsible for any items left behind after the pet(s) has been

collected.

14. All charges must be paid before the removal of the guest, including any extras which may have been incurred

while your animal(s) was in our care.

15. All rates are daily, levied from and including the day of arrival and departure, if animals are collected before 12:00

(noon) they will not be charged for the day of departure.

16. A deposit /Admin fee  is required at the time of booking and all deposits/Admin fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

17. The proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission to any pets showing signs of ill health or aggression towards

staff or other animals.

18. The proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission or cancel a booking of any animal and no reason need be

given, if this affects ability to travel Dotties Doghouse will not be held responsible for any expenses incurred as a

result of non-admission or cancellation of a booking.

19. All owners/agents of pets boarded with ourselves, upon check in give permission for their pet to be photographed

and recorded, and used in any advertising or media purposes without prior approval. All such materials are the

property of Dotties Doghouse.

20. Collections outside of our arrival and departure times will incur an out of hour charge of €50 if facilitated.

21. If your animal is not collected 10 days after it is due to go home without contact, it will be rehomed or handed over

to the local pound/rescue centre.

22. Dotties Doghouse may modify any of these terms and conditions – including but not limited to, the type of

vaccinations required, and the duration needed before an animal can be accepted for boarding – at any time, with

or without notice, even though these changes may affect the customer’s ability to board an animal with ourselves.

23. Failure to arrive on the date booked will result in the reservation being cancelled, unless prior notification has

been given.

24. If your pet(s) check-in late or check-out earlier than originally booked, you will still be charged for the entirety of

the original reservation.

25. Customers are responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to any changes that Dotties Doghouse may make to

these terms and conditions. The most current version of these terms and conditions will be available on our

website, or as a hard copy from a member of staff, and will supersede all

previous versions of these terms and conditions.

26. It is understood that by choosing to board your pet(s) with us, you fully accept our terms and conditions. 

           27;         All bookings once accepted by Dotties Doghouse must be paid for in the event of late cancellation of your trip.

We have reserved a space for your pets and refused others for that space.
